چکیده
Salinity is an ecological factor affecting the physiology, survival, and distribution of crustaceans. Additionally, salinity fluctuation detrimentally affects composition biological process As a significant commercial aquaculture species in China, Japan, Southeast Asian countries, oriental river prawn, Macrobrachium nipponense, can tolerate wide range salinity. The transcriptome, proteome, histology, physiology analysis were utilized to explore physiological responses molecular mechanisms tolerance M. nipponense . Through three-month culture, statistic growth trait illustrated relatively excellent performance low salinity, higher exposure significantly affected In terms histological analysis, gills hepatopancreas suffered varying degrees damage. Besides, activities digestive, immune-related, metabolic enzymes calculated. These results indicated that influenced trypsin amylase hepatopancreas, especially 14 ppt. immune-related activated high Notably, activity was 7 ppt, which testified ppt near isotonic point gills, muscle, high-throughput mRNA sequencing revealed 11356, 2227, 1819 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) by comparing 7, 14, 21 groups with 0ppt group, respectively. TMT-labeling proteome identified 439 230 proteins (DEPs) through comparison 0 integration transcriptome several pathways related adaptation enriched, including protein export, cGMP-PKG signaling pathway, Amino sugar nucleotide metabolism, Glycine, serine threonine metabolism. 16 up down-regulated DEGs detected KEGG enrichment ETHE1, BIP, chitinase (E3.2.1.14), SARDH. no regulated recorded correlation hepatopancreas. Thus, optimum survival may from Overall, these provide valuable insights into underlying culture different

Insights into Sexual Precocity of Female Oriental River Prawn Macrobrachium nipponense through Transcriptome Analysis
BACKGROUND The oriental river prawn (Macrobrachium nipponense) is the most prevalent aquaculture species in China. The sexual precocity in this species has received considerable attention in recent years because more and more individuals matured at a small size, which devalues the commercial production. In this study, we developed deep-coverage transcriptomic sequencing data for the ovaries of ...
متن کاملGenetic diversity analysis of oriental river prawn, Macrobrachium nipponense, in Yellow River using microsatellite marker.
To assess the genetic status of this species, the genetic diversity of wild Macrobrachium nipponense from seven geographic locations in the Yellow River basin were investigated using 20 polymorphic microsatellite DNA loci. The genetic diversity between populations was indicated by the mean number of alleles per locus and mean observed heterozygosity (H) and the expected H, which was arranged fr...
متن کاملcDNA Cloning and Expression Analysis of Gustavus Gene in the Oriental River Prawn Macrobrachium nipponense
The gustavus gene is required for localizing pole plasm and specifying germ cells. Research on gustavus gene expression will advance our understanding of the biological function of gustavus in animals. A cDNA encoding gustavus protein was identified and termed MnGus in the oriental river prawn Macrobrachium nipponense. Bioinformatic analyses showed that this gene encoded a protein of 262 amino ...
متن کاملMolecular cloning and expression analysis of Fem1b from oriental river prawn Macrobrachium nipponense.
Feminization-1 homolog b (Fem1b) is one of the genes essential for male development and play central roles in sex determination of Caenorhabditis elegans. In this study, we cloned and characterized the full-length Fem1b cDNA from the freshwater prawn Macrobrachium nipponense (MnFem1b) in different tissues and at different developmental stages. Real-time quantitative reverse polymerase chain rea...
متن کاملTranscriptome Analysis of the Oriental River Prawn, Macrobrachium nipponense Using 454 Pyrosequencing for Discovery of Genes and Markers
BACKGROUND The oriental river prawn, Macrobrachium nipponense, is an economically and nutritionally important species of the Palaemonidae family of decapod crustaceans. To date, the sequencing of its whole genome is unavailable as a non-model organism. Transcriptomic information is also scarce for this species. In this study, we performed de novo transcriptome sequencing to produce the first co...
